ABOUT
The Hebrew Teachings and the Diaspora of the Children of the Slave Trade
Our belief in the Hebrew teachings of the Old and New Testaments forms the cornerstone of our understanding of the diaspora of the children of the slave trade. This spiritual and historical perspective allows us to draw deep connections between the ancient experiences of the Israelites.
Biblical Foundations and Parallels
The Old Testament, particularly the Torah and the prophetic books, recounts the story of the Israelites—a people chosen by God yet subjected to periods of enslavement, exile, and diaspora. The narrative of their bondage in Egypt and subsequent liberation through the Exodus has been a powerful symbol for many African-descended people, particularly those who were dispersed and oppressed during the transatlantic slave trade.
